Dave is a multi-music genre inspired Bass Player from the Pacific Northwest. He has been holding down low-end vibrations for many of the Region’s top bands for many years. He is also an accomplished guitarist, also plays the upright bass, the ukulele, and even dabbles with his mandolin and banjo. He lives by a creed of due diligence; study hard, you’ll never finish learning what music has to offer. Dare to Dream!”
Dave is the Bass Player for the Nashville based Country / Southern-Rock band Case & Focx. “It is easy to be inspired by music that hits you as hard as Cage & Focx’s brand of Southern-Country.
In the beginning Dave started his musical interests playing his big brother’s drum set as a youngster. After graduating high school he discovered guitar and shortly thereafter picked up the bass. It became very clear at that point what his life’s passion would be. Dave has studied with many talented instructors over the years; including Business & Music at Eastern Oregon University. He soared far beyond his daily work load per his persistence and his typical inner drive to succeed.
Dave has also studied Music Theory with Blues Extraordinaire, singer-songwriter, Robbie Laws. He has a vast variety of musical genres under his belt. He has played and toured with multiple professional bands throughout the Pacific Northwest; playing blues/soul, country, rock/metal and alternative rock. Dave is very passionate about music and couldn’t imagine life without it. A few of his bass inspirations are Billie Sheehan, Steve Harris, Robert Trujillo and last but not least; John Myung of Dream Theater. Dave is honored to now be establishing a presence in Nashville. When relaxing you will usually find him with an instrument in his hands.
